Do not ask what the customer wants. Show what you have and asked what needs to be changed!

Do not be afraid to say no to functionality that is not out of the box. This helps understand what are must haves and nice to haves.

This is very different from what you may be doing today, but can lower implementation cost and give a more “out of box” feeling.

Sometimes solutions can be implemented in a different way or using a different technique, but uniformity makes support of environment easier and allows an easier transition of environment within the services groups.
